Throughout the school year, Eta Kappa Nu works around the campus and in the area to serve the community. Some of the activities the Iota Beta chapter has been involved in are:

Salvation Army Toys For Tots

During the Christmas Season, the Iota Beta chapter worked with the Salvation Army to distribute donated toys to needy families.

C. Holmes MacDonald Distinguished Teacher Award

To recognize excellence in electrical or computer engineering teaching, the Iota Beta chapter nominated Dr. Christopher Taylor for the C. Holmes MacDonald Distinguished Teacher Award. The award recognizes teachers under the age of 35 for their exceptional service in engineering education.
